There really are no perfect adjectives to describe how great the home buying process was while working with Jon. My husband and I were in a bad partnership with a previous agent and were hesitant to find a new agent and start our search over- We could not be any happier that we took that chance and met Jon. We didn't know if we would need to rent first before purchasing, given how hot the house market seemed to be and limited inventory in our preferred area. We met with Jon by phone first, where we had an instant connection. He was very straightforward and honest about setting expectations, but also eager to get started and find our right place, whether rental or purchase. Jon started by sending us listings based on our search criteria and gave us access to tools to search ourselves since we were on a tight timeline. We gave feedback and quickly narrowed it down to a short list of houses. Literally the day after sending Jon our favorites, he toured every house for us and did live video so we felt as if we were touring the homes ourselves. We narrowed our list further down to a couple of houses. We were a moment too late with the first and on the second house, Jon actually advised us to put in an offer before getting on a plane to see it. It sounds crazy, but it was the best advice we received. The offer was accepted and Jon stepped it up to make sure we stayed on track even from 1000s of miles away! Jon was amazing to work with — above and beyond! He met with our local friends to tour the house again. He rearranged his schedule so that we could fly in, tour our house and others for much needed perspective, just in time to make a final decision before our due diligence period was up. He recommended and scheduled a great inspector, specialists, and follow-up inspections, coordinating the work, and being onsite when we were not in town. Of course things came up during inspection, but Jon helped us navigate everything including counter offers and fixes. He was patient with us the whole way, explaining everything step by step. Everything really worked out perfectly and we landed our dream home! We can't say enough about Jon. He's so knowledgeable about the Atlanta market and ITP neighborhoods. We really felt that he had our back every step of the way (even after the closing) and that we were more than just a commission. There were many times Jon could have just told us not to worry, but instead he supported us regardless of if we wanted to walk away from the deal.
